The steps to take an ISTO Test of Understanding (free trial, mock or test) are as follows:

Create an account on the ISTO portal. You will need to provide personal details such as your full legal name for the purpose of the certificate and/or analytics report to be issued.

Choose test type (Free Trial Test, Mock Test or Test) on the side menu.
- If a Test is selected, choose whether to take the Test online or at a physical location of an ISTO partner, and select the desired date and time. Please note the invigilation language of the test session run by the relevant partner.
- Mock test can be taken anytime at the comfort of your home for practice.
- Pay with debit/credit card or via PayPal.

Confirmation email will be sent upon successful registration.

考生可以將測驗重新安排最多兩次。您可以在測驗開始時間前最多一週重新安排測驗。超過該時間，考生必須參加其測驗或喪失所有費用。

測驗必須在註冊日期後的180天內完成，否則考生將喪失所有費用。

考生可以登錄至測驗入口網站上的自己的帳戶以方便重新安排。

考生將在提交測驗後一週內於中心獲得測驗結果。不成功的考生可以考慮重新參加測驗。如果考生選擇重新參加相同的測驗，將獲得30%的折扣。考生只需登入他們的帳戶即可註冊。
